COLD BREW

Cold brew coffee is a great option for coffee lovers because it has a less acid pH than regular coffee and thus you will be able to experience the whole range of flavours and feel lighter on the stomach.

Cold brew can be essentially obtained in two ways: full immersion (also called immersion method) and cold drip. The latter allows you to get to a smoother, more balanced coffee compared to what you obtain through the former.

Essentially, full immersion involves steeping ground coffee for up to 24 hours and usually results in a gritty mouth feel coffee due to the sediments that the process produces.
By contrast, cold drip brew consists in letting the cold water drip slowly on a bed of ground coffee.

Cold drip is much faster. This is possible thanks to the continuous clean flow of drops that are absorbed by the grounds. In this way, the extraction is facilitated and the coffee that results is distinctly enhanced.

The Coffee obtained with the Cold Drip Method is sweet and full bodied. This system enables you to experience an unparalleled clarity of flavours and an intense aroma, also avoiding the risk of over-extraction and consequent bitterness.

Furthermore, by avoiding the extraction of the coffee oils, it increases the shelf life of the drink which can be kept in the refrigerator for up to a week. What are you waiting for? Hurry and prepare a cold brewed coffee to share with your loved one.
