#essenseRecipe MARTINI COLD BREW
Martini Cold Brew
The Martini is a cocktail made with gin and vermouth, and garnished with an olive or a lemon twist. Over the years, the Martini has become one of the best-known mixed alcoholic beverages. H. L. Mencken called the Martini “the only American invention as perfect as the sonnet and E. B. White called it “the elixir of quietude”.
This year Essense celebrates World Martini Day by a refreshing recipe with Martini Cold Brew. To make this cocktail we choose the fruity notes of HUEHUE, coffee that grows at the foot of Cuchumatanes, the highest non-volcanic mountain in Guatemala: 3 HUEHUE coffee pods per 400 ml of water, brewed in 5 hour.
Preparation Time: 5′
1 part Martini
3 parts cold brew coffee
Make a Cold Brew Coffee (add sugar if you like). Take ice cubes and place them in a large glass. Measure out 1 part Martini and pour it then 3 parts Cold Brew coffee and pour it. Add lemon peels.
Curiosity of Martini cocktail:
Martini derives his name from the white vanilla flowers. It was lauched in 1910 and it gained the appellation “Extra White” . It is based on a mixture of aromatic herbs, floral and sweet spices.
The color is pale yellow, clear straw colored . The aroma is intense and sweet, with vanilla smell.
